Koh-Lipe is located in Satun Province. It is one part of Tarutao National Marine Park that closes to Langkawi island of Malaysia. Koh Lipe is a small island in the Southern part of the Andaman Sea. Sometimes people called this island as Koh Leepay or Koh Lipeh. The name "Koh Lipe" means paper Island in the local Chao Ley language. There are three main beaches in this island. First, Pattaya beach is the most popular one in this island and has a wide variety of places to stay, drink and eat. Second, Sunrise Beach has quite a few resorts as well as a small Chao Ley (Sea Gypsies) Village with some basic shops and small eateries. Last, Sunset beach is the smallest beach and has only has a couple of places to stay. Even though this island is a small island, it has a lot of activities to do such as snorkeling and diving. I love this island since my friend told me about the trip there. It was a wonderful time to travel to Koh- Lipe. It’s not noisy and not many people just the beautiful nature and quite. I would love to go to the beautiful quite beach……and this island my friend confirm the impression will be occurring to you!!!!!
